📚 node [[back links]]
Welcome! Nobody has contributed anything to 'back links' yet. You can:
  • Write something in the document below!
    • There is at least one public document in every node in the Agora. Whatever you write in it will be integrated and made available for the next visitor to read and edit.
  • Write to the Agora from social media.
    • If you follow Agora bot on a supported platform and include the wikilink [[back links]] in a post, the Agora will link it here and optionally integrate your writing.
  • Sign up as a full Agora user.
    • As a full user you will be able to contribute your personal notes and resources directly to this knowledge commons. Some setup required :)

Are backlinks a feature or a product?

Backlinks

  • A chunk of the power of [[roam likes]], the other being [[wikilinks]] (not exclusive to them) and [[block references]].
  • A backlink is any link to the page you're visiting.
  • Currently the [[agora]] surfaces backlinks from nodes in the same [[agora]]. In the future it will support sources such as other agoras ([[agora protocol]]) and social networks such as [[twitter]].

backlinks

instead of having your notes be siloed into different folders and subfolders, you can let your notes be automatically organized based on how they relate to similar topics and points. A lot of people like to use the brain metaphor in that the bidirectional nature resembles how our brains work and how it makes connections with everything that we are thinking and learning about.
