Mindset

Growth vs Fixed Mindset (Carol Dweck)

I see two main mindsets: The Learning mindset and the Blaming mindset. See more here [[Learning vs Blaming]]

In decision theory and general systems theory, a mindset is a set of assumptions, methods, or notions held by one or more people or groups of people.[1] A mindset can also be seen as arising out of a person's world view or philosophy of life.[2]

In Soft Systems Methodology we use CATWOE as a mnemonic for the process. W is for worldview or weltanschauung.

In Systems Thinking a mindset is a mental model. They are implicit. ST provides us with tools for making our mental models explicit so they can be shared challenged and understood.
