Today I paid a bunch of bills; I do it in batches. In particular I paid >40k of taxes today, which dwarfed everything else. I'm OK with this of course; I don't think nation-states are ideal but they are the best we've got, and the Swiss state works relatively well.

• Enjoyed the [[social.coop]] member gathering. Learning a bit about how social.coop is operated, discussing how members might get more involved in governance, and raising the question of whether it might move from network of likeminded individuals to a community of practice(s).

• Back on [[brutaldon]] as the standard Mastodon UI is too noisy for me. Nice that @djsundog@reclaim.technology has stood up brutaldon.org after brutaldon.online stopped running.
