Microblog is a form of a blog that focuses on short posts, so short they are called //micro//. Short texts with no more than a couple hundred characters. Common microblogging sites are [[twitter]] and [[mastodon]]. One can have a simple [[twtxt]] microblog.
Microblogs converge into good social networks. Twitter and Mastodon are social networks, not just platforms for microblogs.
