Write about my recent hit and run incident. Nobody stopping! Why? Because of the stories we tell each other about crime and that the world is an unsafe place. It is a world of FEAR. Fear means we are afraid to do things, to try things, to help anyone. Same happened in Barcelona 2012. And on Flitwick station many years ago.

Hit and Run. Yesterday I was out on my daily walk when I was the subject of a hit and run accident. I was walking on a short stretch of Dovecliffe Road having turned right from Smithley Lane. There is about 25m of road before I turn right into Wombwell Wood. I was walking on the verge on the left of the road when I was hit by a car. The time was about 3.50pm'ish. The car's left wing mirror hit my arm and I went flying. No one stopped to help me. I had to walk home to get attention. I was lucky. I lived. The next person may not be so lucky. Many people walk this way with dogs and children. Something needs to be done.....Ideas?
