Learning Rust

  • a movable pointer
• Installing [[rustup]] via curl produced a working install right away, whereas snap install curl didn't for some reason.
• println! is a [[macro]], not a [[function]], and this is indicated by the !. At first glance I thought it meant it was a function with side effects.
• Semicolons. Sigh.
