National liberation has been an important question for [[file:20200707205056-communism.org][communists]] in the 20th
century.

National liberation, broadly speaking, is the idea that a [[file:20200713095729-nation_state.org][nation state]] is
essentially a coherent group of people. Through this coherence there can be an
independent nation.

Some nations oppress others through [[file:20200607214217-colonialism.org][colonialism]]. Examples include:
