This week Ward and I have been exploring how we can use the fedwiki to help people create their own causal loop diagrams. 


Yesterday we began an experiment to test a site Ward has prepared to guide people through the process. Marc was our guinea pig. He brought along an interesting story about an experience he had with a friend out sailing.


It occurred to me that creating a CLD from a story like this moves the narrative from a single story to many hidden potential stories of other possibilities. 


It occurs to me that a CLD holds a host of latent stories. Depending where we start and how we start can lead to very different chains of consequences and hence experiences and hence stories.


A CLD is a story of stories!


Or another way of looking at it is that it is the maths of english.
