As a new user, and new to using this kind of communication, I am saying "hello", hoping my words won't disappear somewhere! Bear with me in trying to catch on to the 20th century (never mind the 21st!). Your techno-talk helps me somewhat in at least being exposed to some current language, and I am looking forward to Graham's contributions about things other than technical.
