> [[Agroecology]] is what allows [[movement]]s of [[struggle for land]] to exist. It's the [[agroecological knowledge]] what justifies the [[takeover]] of [[land]] from [[agribusiness]] so that [[healthy food]] (without [[pesticides]]) may be produced and [[environmental preservation]] [practiced]. Any serious [[struggle]] [[movement]] must have [[agroecology]] as its [[mode of production]] and also as a [[moral]] and [[organizational]] [[value]]. There's no [[agroecology]] without [[community]], without [[food sovereignty]], without [[preserving nature]] ([[flora]], [[fauna]], [[soil]], [[water]]).

> In this sense, [[agroecology]] is in fact what helps [[man]] [[relink]] itself with [[nature]], going against the [[predatory]] logic of its use [nature] as a [[commodity]] and [[production resource]]. To conclude, [[agroecology]] is not an alternative to [[green capitalism]], it is an alternative to [[capitalism]] itself, [as capitalism represents] the [[destruction]] of [[humanity]].
